It usually takes less than 5 minutes to enter each goal and the related tasks.
Most people are comfortable with the entire software in under 30 minutes. Remember when you roll or mouse over most things in the software you get more information and when you click on most things you edit that item.
After registering, logging in and accepting or declining any group invitations, you should complete your Basic Profile and then you can jump right in with entering your Goals and Tasks.
Foundational information such as Mission, Vision, Personality Profile, and SWOT provide you and your coach guidance when deciding how to handle opportunities and challenges and charting your way forward to success. You can enter these in later on.
The Goal Saturation Index
TM is a visual indicator of where you have scheduled the completion of your goals across the year. If an indicator is yellow or red that may mean that you have scheduled many or most of your goals to be completed during that time of the year. You may want to look at the Summary Tab, which will show you exactly where you have scheduled your Goals and Tasks.
Life Balance Index
TM Indicator is meant to show you where you are placing emphasis on your goal setting this year in the areas of Professional, Company and Personal goals.
We do not believe that all of the bars in the LBI have to be equal. We only intend for it to confirm what you have decided to work on the most in your life at this time or to make you aware of where your emphasis is if it isn’t by conscious choice.
We believe that all goals should have at least two supporting tasks. If a goal has one supporting task, or no tasks at all associated with it, the goal status indicator will be silver.
No. You can use Nsight EPS
TM as an individual user.
Only the coach who created the group can add members.
From the Group Roster screen, click on edit in the left hand corner. The Manage Group screen will appear and in the lower left quadrant you will see the fields for INVITING SOMEONE TO JOIN YOUR GROUP.
You will need to provide a first and last name and a valid email address then click INVITE.
You should then see the invitees name appear in the list of OUTSTANDING INVITATIONS.
nSight EPS
TM will generate an email invitation which will include a link to the application and once the invitation is accepted, automatically add the user to your group.
You must be invited to join a group by the group’s coach.
If you are already a user of Nsight EPSTM and a coach invites you to join a group, you will be given a chance to accept or decline the invitation the next time you login to the application.
If you have not registered to become a user of Nsight EPSTM, you will receive an email invitation to join. The link contained in the email will direct you to Nsight EPSTM where you can register, login and accept or decline the group invitation.
Alternatively, you can start your own group.
There is no limit on the number of members in a group. However, you will find that more than 20 members in a group is a bit un-wieldly and so we don’t really recommend it.
You can create an unlimited number of groups.
Yes you can. Nsight EPS
TM allows you to have multiple coaches. Once you have accepted an invitation to join a group you will be able to determine which items a coach can see and who you are creating your monthly summary for. You can even allow multiple coaches to see the same items. Or not. Your choice.
Your coach will remove you from the group but your login and data will live on and you can continue to use Nsight EPSTM. Your accomplishment history up to the date you leave the group will be included in the group aggregate numbers for the year. You will no longer appear in the group roster and will not be able to see any of their shared data.
You may be a member of an unlimited number of groups.
No, it is not necessary to have a mentor. However, mentor’s can be helpful in the accomplishment of your goals. You may want to ask someone who has experience or expertise in an area that is related to your goal/task/issue/action to be your mentor for that item.
KPI’s, Key Performance Indicators, are specific, numeric measures of company’s performance in different areas of their business. Examples include revenue, EBITA, Expenses, Margin and Pipeline.
Currently, the KPIs are fixed within nSight EPSTM. This is because they must be all the same for all members of a group to accurately compare group data.
Your data is protected in several ways. Only you and the coaches or group members that you select to see the data can view it. Only you and the coaches you select can actually change the data.
You can mark any goal, task, issue, action, to-do or note as private when you create the item or edit it. When you check the private box, the item I viewable only by you, even if group data is shared.
You may also choose not to show an item to one coach but allow another to see it. This is also done when you create an item through the Approved Coaches selection at the bottom of the Create/Edit box.
When you created the item there are two boxes that affect whether a coach can see it. The first is the Private box, the second is the Approved Coaches box. The private box must be unchecked and the specific coach checked in order for a coach to see an item.
When you create a group you have the option of sharing data within the group. You will find the check box at the bottom of the Group Maintenance screen. Data sharing is related to the group so that you can have one group that shares data and another that doesn’t.
Notes are created by the individual user. Private notes are only viewable by the user. Public notes, also known as monthly summaries, are viewable by the user selected coach(s) and other group members if data is shared within the group.
